All Saints has the opportunity to prepare and serve meals several times throughout the year to those who are unhoused in the Charleston area. During these meals, our Service Team also provides a variety of items from socks, blankets, underwear, cooling cloths, shirts, hand warmers and hygiene kits.
We ask for volunteers to help provide the meal items and volunteers to help serve the meal. Adults and middle & high school youth are encouraged to volunteer to serve. We will have at least one Service Team member to provide guidance during the outreach opportunity.
We will meet at All Saints at 4 pm on the event Sunday to pack up the prepared food and then those serving will go meet in the parking lot adjacent to 342 Meeting Street (2nd Presbyterian Church) to set-up, serve and clean-up afterwards. We will also provide volunteers specifics for items and quantity to purchase. All purchased items may be reimbursed by the church.
