All Saints Blessing Box

Girl Scout Troop 609 as part of a Silver Award, has meet with the church Service Team, Council and Facilities regarding building a Blessing Box on our church property.  The Box has been built and painted, and is now up near the mailbox at the church driveway.  It is in a lit location and visible to those passing by. It will be listed on the little free pantry directory website. A plate will be added on the box once it is received.  A portion of the SOUPer Bowl of Caring non-perishable food donations were set aside to help stock the box.  The East Cooper Girl Scout Service Unit will help maintain and restock the Box starting in the fall.  Special thanks to Nathan Schutte, and Marie & Randy Jones for their support in this project!  If you are interested in contributing food or books, please contact Tricia Finkenberg.

Calling All Who Enjoy Cooking

Calling All Who Enjoy Cooking

Here’s a great way to support our Respite Care program, a social day program for individuals affected by Alzheimer’s Disease and other memory disorders. You are invited to provide the lunch meal for our Respite Care participants one Wednesday per month. This is an opportunity to bring a smile to the faces of the participants by serving them a home-made meal here at the church. A sign-up sheet and suggested menus are available at the Narthex counter.  Sign up today!
