Formerly categorized as “young adults,” this group is made up of parents and working adults looking for connection and support through this crazy thing called life. Sinners and Saints activities include “Theology on Tap,” Wednesday evening Bible Study, Sunday morning Book Study, and the annual Ugly Sweater party. The community is invited to a Longest Night Service, hosted by Providence Church. The message of merriness prevails during the holidays, and little acknowledgement is given to the sadness that many people carry. This Longest Night Service will be a sacred space where we can mourn and lament the losses and griefs that we experience, as well as pray for God’s peace. Pastors Kris and Ginger will help lead the service with other clergy from the East Cooper Faith Council.
